In preschool, the children learn through play! The preschoolers in my class are ages 3-5 with 8 of our students having special needs. Through the day they play in a variety of centers including blocks, housekeeping, science, art, puzzles, and small manipulatives.
Whole group instruction (circle time, story time, movement, and other fun activities) take place on our circle time carpet.
Over the years are carpets in our room have become quite dirty. While we spot clean them as best as we can, we really need to carpet clean them and keep them sanitized better. Unfortunately, this cost falls on the teacher as there is no budget to get our carpets cleaned. I am writing this project for a brand-new carpet steam cleaner that we can keep on our classroom closet so we can deep clean our carpets regularly.
