Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Music Club has become a vibrant space where students explore their creativity and share their talents with the school community. Performances are a highlight of our program, offering students the chance to build confidence and inspire their peers. However, our current bass amps were donated second-hand when we first started, and they are no longer operating at full capacity. While they have served us well, we need an upgrade to ensure students experience high-quality sound and a professional performance environment.
The Ampeg 500W Bass Combo Amp will provide our bassists with the presence and clarity needed to stand out in performances, while the Shure SM57 microphone will allow us to connect the amp to the PA system for a full, immersive sound in our auditorium.
As our Music Club has grown from two to four days a week, students are exploring instruments, technique, and live performance skills more than ever. A powerful and clear bass sound will not only benefit the musicians on stage but will also elevate the audience's experience, making performances more impactful and immersive. Having high-quality equipment will allow students to fully experience the impact of their music and feel confident performing on stage.
