Dedicated Junior Varsity Basketball Athletes Need Duffel Bags Please!

My students need duffel bags for the Junior Varsity Basketball team of dedicated athletes!

My Students

Our Junior Varsity Basketball team has 28 members of dedicated, hardworking students that have a love of basketball, as well as a love of learning!

Our coaches and athletes work hard to strive to be their best - every practice, every game, every day - on the court and in the classroom.

Over half of our students are from high poverty environments. Many parents work more than one job and do not have the means, the language knowledge, or the educational ability to support students' learning at home. Our school is filled with caring educators and coaches that nurture all of these beautiful children in ways that extend beyond the classroom and the locker room.

My Project

Our Junior Varsity Basketball team needs duffel bags. They do not have any and our school does not currently have the funds to get these for this dedicated group of athletes. This great group of players gives it their all in every practice and in every game.

As Magic Johnson said "There is winning and there is losing and in life both will happen - what is never acceptable to me is quitting."

Our coaches inspire our team members to succeed on the court and in life. These duffel bags will help give our athletes confidence as they walk onto the court. They will help them be prepared for each game as they will no longer forget parts of their uniform or other items they need to excel in the game since they will have a place to store and carry their uniforms and other game essentials.
