My Project

This year, my classes have been moved into the former art room. While this space was ideal for art lessons and projects, in its current state, it is not an ideal space for ELA classes. There are large spaces and gaps within this new classroom that are holding us back from forming the community that develops within my classes.

Through this project, I am looking to bring trees, plants, and flowers into my classroom.

My students do best when they are in a surrounded by a creative and aesthetically-pleasing environment. Therefore, bringing aspects of nature into my new classroom will create a space in which my students will be able to form connections with the curriculum, as well as with each other.
