My Project
The materials I am requesting today for my learners will give them the tools they need to engage with STEAM and other areas as well! Learning to crack the code in reading is essential, especially for beginning readers.
By giving students high interest text to practice decoding, the code will stick as they encounter reading in all areas of learning. Students need multiple practices with a word before it is cemented in their minds. High interest text is a great way to do this!
The stories I've chosen have the potential to provoke high order thinking which can be applied in all areas of STEAM.
