This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love learning to read. I want to encourage them as much as I can. I want to provide books for my students to take home. These books need to be at their reading level and easy for them to read. Decodable books are what my kids need. Most of my students come from second language learning homes. this means their parents often are not able to read in English. The decodable books will be easy enough for the parents to help their child, and they might help the parents too.
