My Project

I am requesting decodable books for my intervention students. I work with small groups of students to help them become more confident readers. We work on sounds and sight words and then build into multi-syllabic words. When the lessons are over they need a good book to read that uses the skills they just learned.

Decodable books build on those basic reading skills.

The older students want to read chapter books, which are commonly too hard for them. These books can make them feel confident and not embarrassed about reading picture books.
