This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have been taking off with their learning to read. They feel so successful when they have books they are able to read. I want to provide my students with a wide variety of decodable books.
Decodable books help students who are just learning to read.
These books have familiar words or words that students can use their phonetic knowledge to sound out. Having decodable books available for my students will help my students become better readers. These books will be used for small groups and target reading groups.
