it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In today's world, literacy is the key to unlocking a brighter future. The Science of Reading has proven there is a huge need for systematic phonics instruction. In our district, we have just started moving away from a Workshop approach with leveled books to phonics-based instruction. Unfortunately, our K-2 teachers are lacking decodable readers they can use in small group and individual instruction to support their reading needs.
As they progress through our decodable library, they gain the confidence and competence necessary to tackle more complex texts, paving the way for lifelong learning and success.
