My Project
In my first year serving as the college and career adviser, I am surrounded daily by students who consistently demonstrate perseverance and determination. Even beyond my time with them, their highly respected self-assurance and drive will easily carry them far, as they will undoubtedly become recognized leaders in their prospective communities.
The Class of 2024 has spent the last year working diligently in order to achieve success beyond high school.
The vast majority of our students here at PHS come from low-income families and strive to be the first in their immediate family to go to college. Our students have time and time again continued to not let these statistics stack against them. I am confident that they will choose occupations in the future that will positively impact not only our economy but also the lives of others and themselves.
The project aims to reduce the financial burden of college for students by providing funding for an iPad, laptop, and mini fridge. They will have access to the technologies they need to succeed in college. However, your kind donations will immediately result in these students' brighter and more promising futures when we send them to further education.
