Nic Stone's novel, Dear Martin, always has a profound effect on my ninth grade English students. The book has an edgy and real feel that makes students think about the world around them. I would like to give my students the opportunity to read more about the characters in the novel by giving them each a copy of Dear Justyce, the sequel to Dear Martin.
I am requesting 50 copies of Nic Stone's Dear Justyce.
Each student in my ninth grade classes will receive a copy of the book to keep.
When students choose to read, we should all pay attention. What is it that grabs their attention and why? It is my hope that Dear Justyce will mean as much to students as Dear Martin did. Thank you.
