My Students
I’m a middle school ELA special education teacher. Every day is an adventure with my students. I teach them but they teach me something new about myself every day. My students require special accommodations to enhance their learning environment. Not everyone learns in the same way, and I am looking for way to enhance my well-rounded learning atmosphere. I would like nothing more than to give my students the
opportunity to succeed to their fullest potential, not only in my classroom but in their future endeavors as well.
My Project
As a second year teacher, these “building block” materials will not only make a huge difference in my students' learning, they will also enhance my classroom to its fullest potential. As a special education teacher, my goal is to ensure that each of my students get the proper support and guidance that they need in order to learn and excel. Sometimes they need multiple ways of learning, whether it being a hands-on activity or a visual model. These tools will help me scaffold and re-teach the material in a way that will only promote my students' learning experience. These materials would also create a safe and positive environment where my students can explore on their own, which would only enhance their learning and creativity. My students and I thank you for the consideration!
