This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Dean's Office can be an intimidating place for students to be. While I work very hard to create a safe space for students on their toughest days, I'm missing some classic comfort items.

My goal is to create a space where students have their essential needs meet when they are heightened and needing a place to regulate themselves.

I dream of a space where students can find new ways to take care of themselves with items that support their grounding practices.

My students are kindest, most hilarious people I've ever known. They're resilient and introspective and deserve an oasis on their worst days. My hope is that I can create that space for them with your generosity.
