Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items I am requesting will provide literary experiences that promote social-emotional well-being. Children need to learn to identify their emotions and ways to deal with them. These books and learning materials will support this effort.
The items in my project such as the Little Spot books, and emotions dominoes game, will help facilitate learning that is relevant to students and will help them make better choices when dealing with difficult emotions.
My students will benefit tremendously because as students with disabilities, they need instruction in social skills and emotional well-being, the same as students without disabilities.
