Help me give my students Posca markers. As a school counselor, I see students everyday who are emotionally dysregulated. I’ve found that even kids who are too upset to talk will grab Posca markers and paper and draw their feelings.

My Project
I work with amazing students at a Middle School. They are kind, respectful, supportive of each other, and curious. As their school counselor, I have the privilege of helping them prepare for their futures. I foster an environment that creates a sense of belonging and connection which is so important in this day and age. When planning for careers and other future goals, we do expressive art projects. The best way to get kids interested and eager to participate is by having really cool art supplies. They have so much fun with these Posca markers they forget that they’re working! They are learning and applying collaboration, planning, and teamwork skills. We greatly appreciate your support!
