Deaf Students With Disabilities Need Accessible Furniture!

Help me give my students access to the library books and materials at their level. My PreK-2nd grade Deaf students need visual displays to grab their attention.

My Project

As the School Library/Media Specialist at the Delaware School for the Deaf, I work with students of all ages and abilities who attend our school.

My youngest students with additional disabilities need furniture that meets their physical needs.

Low bookshelves with flexible shelving and display options help make interactive books visible and accessible to my little ones. A safe stepstool helps my little ones reach the interactive Smart Board for digital visual activities.

Help me make the Delaware School for the Deaf school library more inclusive for all ages and abilities! Your support is greatly appreciated!
