My Project

The nacho cheese machine will be used to reward students with nachos when they reach weekly goals, show growth on their benchmark or progress monitoring assignments, or exhibit model behavior. The popcorn and the snacks will be used to ensure that no student is struggling through class due to a growling tummy. The refrigerator stand will be used to support our mini refrigerator and store some of the snack options that are kept inside the classroom to ensure that no student loses focus due to hunger. The copy paper will be used to ensure that the students have paper copies of various assignments if needed and newsletters each week. The storage containers will be used to help organized community supplies so that the students can access and return them easily.

My goals for this project are to ensure that students never suffer in school due to hunger, to ensure that students have all that they need to start the educational process on day one, to ensure that the space is thoroughly sanitized, and to ensure that our community supplies are easily accessed and returned by the students.

My students are special to me because they have a strong desire to learn. They enjoy coming to school, grasping all of the education that they can, and cheering each other on when they witness success of any sort. My students put forth efforts to do their best and have no problems with asking questions when they are puzzled.
