Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My wonderful students are a mix of intermediate students with a variety of learning disabilities. They are hard working students who learn differently than others whether that means by the way things are worded, having to use drawings and signals to remember material taught, to some who are more server in their disability than others. No matter the challenges my students face they never give up.
My Project
My students consist of 36 ESE students with a variety of special needs. The reading comprehension practice cards will allow students to read a passage and and identify key details to be able to answer the comprehension questions. The students will be able to learn to work independently through the use of practice with the comprehension practice cards. We will use them in small group instruction and also as mini assessments after we have gotten use to looking for key details and short responses. Help us with our Reading Comprehension!
