My Project
My students' needs are constantly changing, and needing to keep up with the data is one of my biggest challenges. All of my students have an IEP, and taking data on them is critical to my students growth and progress. When I do not have the correct data my students are not able to work on meaningful lessons.
Having an iPad with me, I will be able to quickly enter data from each lesson or time of the day; my students can also use the iPad to communicate with others through AAC applications.
My students will be able to use the AAC application on the iPad to communicate their needs and wants.
This will allow me to have better lessons for my students, write better reports for the parents, and complete IEP data and goals most effectively. The amount of time it takes to input data from paper forms or try to remember what happens after the fact is not the best for the students. With a mobile iPad, I can enter data on the fly and keep up with my kids.
My students will benefit from the updated data by allowing me to provide lessons that are on their levels and in line with their IEP’s.
