My students need chromebooks and a printer/scanner in order to fully utilize the new online data & assessment program (called EADMS) purchased by our district.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Corbett's classroom raised $1,014

My Students
Students come into my classroom knowing that they will be engaged with the curriculum in a fresh and relevant lesson. We dig deep into primary sources, build our understanding of historical context, engage our critical thinking faculties, and connect learning to our past and future.
Put yourself in the shoes of a 15-year-old in 2016.
How would life be different from the world you grew up in? What kind of support would you need in order to succeed? What would it take for you to LOVE school? I teach World History and AP World History to Sophomores. My students are dreaming big dreams and are eager to develop the skills that will help them attain their goals. They are coming into their own as they get their first jobs, driver's licenses, and visit colleges. I strive to create a supportive and inspiring classroom environment that sharpens their knowledge and skills, while helping students better understand our global community.
My Project
This project is designed to give our classroom the tools needed to make the most of our new data and assessment application called EADMS. The chromebooks will allow more students to log in to the system and take online exams made in the same format as the CAASPP state assessment. The printer/scanner will be used to process EADMS bubble sheets when online assessments aren't available, and also allow students to wirelessly print from the chromebooks.
The teacher will have access to specific, actionable data with which to make curricular decisions, re-teach when necessary, and move all students toward proficiency.
The printer/scanner will be made available to other teachers in the department once they have been trained on EADMS and the number of students impacted will continue to grow.
