This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have the honor of teaching bilingual 7 and 8 year old mathematicians, scientists and community activists! I truly believe that this rambunctious and dedicated group of learners will change the world one day.

These world leaders have such a growth mindset as they persevered through a pandemic and a drastic change in their learning style all while learning a secondary language!

They are eager to take third grade by storm and grow so much not only in their language skills but also as problem solvers, explorers, and citizens of their community.

My Project

My amazing learners have been working tirelessly through Google coding courses in order to learn about the wonders of coding. The robots I am requesting will take their learning to the next level!

My students will be able to apply the coding skills they have learned through the Google Coding courses and apply them to real life robots!

How exciting is that?

These little coders will not only be exploring the wonderful world of coding in real life but will take this opportunity to explore different challenges with the accessory pack. The accessory pack will allow my students to differentiate their learning and skill as they feel comfortable. They will begin with coding the robot to follow simple commands but then explore all the different challenges that can come with adding a secondary robot as well as additional tools.

My students are so eager to apply all the awesome block coding knowledge they have learned through the Google coding courses!
