Help me give my students the opportunity to bridge the gap between math and coding, unlocking new ways to think, solve problems, and create. With your support, we can get the tools to code our Dash robots.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Dash robots make learning math extra fun! They can zoom around, light up, and even talk—but the coolest part is how they help kids understand numbers, patterns, and problem-solving.
With Dash, kids can:
Practice measuring by programming the robot to move certain distances.
Learn angles by making Dash turn and explore different directions.
Use coding and math together by giving Dash step-by-step commands, just like solving math problems!
Think like real mathematicians by experimenting and figuring out the best ways to get Dash to complete challenges.
When kids play with Dash, they aren’t just having fun—they’re building math skills without even realizing it.
