My Students

My students are a sweet group of firsties who come from many different countries including Africa, Palestine, Iraq, Brazil, Vietnam, China, Japan, the Congo, Spain and the Dominican Republic.
They are an excited and eager bunch! A portion of my students qualify for refugee status and coming to America has been exciting and overwhelming as they adapt and learn the language and customs. Many are first generation English speakers.
My Project
Dash and Dot coding robots will be an addition to my STEM activities this year for my firsties. I would also like to expand my Osmo materials to include the latest addition of materials, which includes Hot Wheels and an additional Words tile set. The cart would be used to store all of the STEM materials that my students would be using daily as part of their computer and literacy station rotations. During our math block, the Osmo is also used daily as part of our math station rotation. It would be great to have a storage cart to store these materials!
