Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
First of all, I would like to thank all my previous donors here. You all really make our classroom more happy, beautiful and practical. Now, I am proposing even more experiments.
My students will have a chance now of preparing their own slides, analyzing fruits DNA and RNA, investigate the quality of the water through chemical and biology methods of investigation in a laboratory.
We need regent alcohol, lap coat and popsicle sticks.
That is why, for this procedures, that need chemicals, we are in need of some safety equipment to our class and a few more reagents. With these materials in our hands, we will be able to perform further investigations and show the students how their inner and outer world has been presenting themselves. We will be able to compare, for example, the type of bacteria in our potable water with the amount of bacteria in bottled water.
Since my students came from a reality not so good, I believe they need more stimulation to learn, and a good way to instigate them is to perform experiments in our community, because is easier to learn something when we use our student's reality and experiences of life.
