it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love about my students is their energy and passion for my classroom. They are special because they bring in new ideas everyday! Dance is more than just movement in my class. It is a place where my students learn to express themselves and develop who they are. The learning atmosphere in my class needs to be inspiring and bright. That is why I have included motivational dance bracelets for all my students to serve them as a reminder of their gifts. In addition, I will use my classroom atmosphere as the base for their learning. That is why I have included a butterfly wall decor dancer in which every butterfly would represent one of my students at the end of the year. My classroom will instill different dance techniques as well as dance history, body anatomy and how to develop their professional resume in order to use it in their near future. To keep all these composites together, I have order file folders for each student to keep in a file cabinet that I have ordered as well, in order to have them organized. A heater was added because my dance classroom is very cold. This makes it difficult to warm up our bodies during stretching. Therefore, the heater will help ease their muscles into being warm. I have also included a first aid kit for any small cuts or scrapes when my students are going through the learning process. Lastly, because we will be working hard in this special room, I have included an air freshener to help maintain the odor in the room refreshing.
