Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds 86% are Hispanic. The school is located on the industrial side of a major city and more than 75% are economically disadvantaged. Many students come from low income families and they can not afford supplies for their children to have extracurricular activities.
Students are consistently hardworking and focus in the classroom despite their struggles.
The ballet folklorico at our school is at the begging phase and we need all the funding we can get. Students are egger to reconnect with their roots. Help our students get their folklorico skirt and their special shoes designed to dance ballet folklorico. This shoes help student listen their steps and excel their dancing skills.
