My students need the 3 digital video cameras so that students can create video portfolios of personal progress in dance.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach ballet, jazz and modern dance to all grades at an inner-city high school in Arizona.
In dance it is hard to document success without video recording. My classroom is a place for students to get away from the harsh reality that they live and create something out of their turmoil. I use dance for my students as therapy for their hearts and souls. Many students get discouraged because they cannot see the progress they have made. If I just had a way to show them how much they grow it would be a tremendous support for the program. Throughout the year students are giving the opportunity to create small group, duets and solo's.
I need video cameras to give my students the opportunity to document their growth and creativity in choreography and technique. With three cameras multiple students will be able to document their work.
With only one camera it is near impossible to document every student and give each student the individual attention they so desperately need and deserve. With your help I can provide my students the opportunities that are available to students in higher socio-economic areas.
More than half of students from low‑income households
