My Project
The dance students at MSA West are an exceptional group of 7th - 12th graders. Seeing a great group of dance students working hard daily in dance class is genuinely inspiring. This year our annual dance recital theme will be "The Wiz"!
I am requesting various colors of tooling foil to cover the larger set pieces we have made with cardboard so that we can have a spectacular and colorful backdrop.
I want to truly bring the Wonderful Land of Oz to life for my hard-working dancers. They are so expressive and creative, and what's impressive is that our dance students come from such a diverse population. It's beautiful to see how the power of dance can bring people from all backgrounds together and help them find common ground. I also request spray adhesive glue, glue sticks, and glitter to secure the foil to the set pieces and various props for the performance.
As a school and community, we recognize the value of the arts as powerful tools for empowerment, self-reflection, and social change. By providing opportunities for students to engage in the arts, we encourage creativity, self-expression, and a deeper understanding of ourselves and others. These students are a testament to the transformative power of dance, and we are proud to support their passion and dedication.
