Dance the Day Away

Help me give my students costumes and dance gear; they have the heart and the steps, but with the gear and costumes they will have the look!

My Project

I currently teach sixth through eighth graders who have never been in dance, taken a dance class, and who cannot afford the training I was afforded. At an accelerated pace, it is my job to get them on grade level and if interested, set them up for success in a dance career. You will not hear, "I can't" from my students. They continue to surpass my expectations and I would like to reward them for their efforts with legit gear and costumes.

Real costumes will elevate the students' performance, legitimize their performance, and help give them a more polished look.

I am so excited to see the look on their faces when we are able to surprise the dancers. It truly takes a village!
