My students need 10 tutus and ribbons/scarves to use for their dance class and performances. The students can use these to enhance their dance experience.
I teach students K-5 dance on a daily basis at a Magnet performing arts school. Most of my students come from low income families that can not put them in dance class outside of school. I feel privileged to work with them and give them an opportunity that they might not get.
I teach dance to students from kindergarten to fifth grade.
I work at a Magnet performing arts elementary school. My students always love coming to dance and enjoy performing for anyone that wants to watch. My students get dance once a week and it is great because not many schools offer dance so they are getting this experience for free.
My Project
I think that my students deserve nice costumes and props to enhance their dancing experience. Most of my students cannot afford to have dancewear and I end up buying a lot of the stuff for them. This would be nice if you could help and donate some dance resources for my classes. They would be very thankful and excited to receive the dance items.
I believe that my project is important because dance is something everyone should be able to experience.
Little children should get to have pretty costumes and feel like real dancers when they are on the stage. I would like this for them.
