My Project
As a new dance program and a Title 1 School, we are building up from nothing, which is so exciting, but also comes with challenges! One of these challenges is not having any costumes of our own for kids to understand and experience a more professional production for our concerts.
Unfortunately, our district is heavily cutting funding next year, and we won't have money for material items. Due to this, we are asking for support in purchasing costumes and other materials for our program. The arts are so so important for kids in terms of academic, social-emotional, and real-world learning, and something as small as a costume can help kids feel that they belong to something important and they are successful and professional.
