it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Snack time is an essential part of the day that can significantly impact student learning. Providing nutritious snacks helps fuel young minds, ensuring they have the energy and focus needed to engage in learning activities.
By integrating snack time into our daily routine, I hope to promote healthier eating habits that students can carry beyond the classroom.
Additionally, I seek to foster a sense of community and care, showing students that their well-being is valued and that their needs are met so they can focus on learning and growing.
What makes my students special is their incredible diversity and resilience. Each student brings a unique set of experiences, perspectives, and talents to the classroom, enriching our learning environment. They are curious, eager to learn, and full of potential. Despite any challenges they may face outside of school, they show up each day ready to engage and participate. Providing them with the resources they need, such as nutritious snacks, is a small, but impactful way to support their educational journey and show them that they are cared for and valued.
