Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach 90 hard-working students who want to learn and practice their new math skills on a daily basis.
My school and my students are made up of a diverse bunch of children who have a passion to learn.
These children come from all around the world and are excited to be in school. My classroom is full of leveled learners and my students work harder when they learn in a fun and engaging way, using these types of centers.
My Project
My students will use these file folder games, addition fluency puzzle games, and center games to practice daily addition, subtraction, problem solving, telling time, counting money, fractions, and multiplication while working in small groups with other children. math center activities daily to practice, review, and challenge themselves. By using these requested materials/game like activities my students will be actively engaged and work towards mastery of each common core skill/subject.
These activities will excite my students to practice and learn new math skills.
Students will not feel intimidated to practice on their own level when they work with their peers in a fun and engaging way. My classroom will be full of inspired, hard-working, math enthusiasts.
