Daily Living Skills and Responsibilities

Help me give my students the ability to help make the classroom a clean environment by having supplies to help clean the classroom. With COVID -19 and positions that remain unfilled, it is necessary that we help.

My Project

I get the pleasure of working with Kindergarten and 1st-grade students who have disabilities but are mainstreamed into the general education classroom. They have gaps in learning, but with support, they do well by being with their grade-level peers.

Due to COVID 19 protocols and unfilled positions, it is a requirement that we help make sure the classroom is clean each day.

My students need tools and supplies that will not only help them participate in the cleaning of the classroom, but it helps create responsibility. The vacuum, mop, bins, and dustbuster help to create lifelong skills that will be used well beyond the classroom.
