This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are so wonderful! They are low level intellectual students in a Title I school. Our students are learning daily life skills. They are excited to come every day to school, excited about social activities and skills that they learn to help them live more independent lives. The items that I am requesting will support our students with daily life skills. This includes brushing hair, using deodorant daily, brushing teeth after meals, and blowing your nose when needed. This makes a difference to our students in skills that promote social interaction and is impactful in their daily lives.
These are skills we teach in the morning to be healthy and independent.
