Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year I will teach a bilingual fifth grade reading class at a Title I campus serving a predominantly Hispanic community.
My students are hardworking, resilient, and eager to learn in both English and Spanish.
Many come from homes where resources are limited, so having a well-stocked and welcoming classroom makes a big difference.
This project will provide basic necessities like dry erase markers, erasers, and classroom decor to help create a space where students feel proud, supported, and ready to grow as bilingual readers every single day. Any donation counts! Thank you in advance!
