This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Three years ago, Extenesive Needs Support Department turned a large patch of dirt into a working garden. We are materials requesting is to expand the Extensive Needs Support Department accessible garden. We are looking to add two more garden beds to expand our garden and for our students to gain more responsibilities for our garden.
Also, they will be observing our garden as well, such as watching plants grow, harvest crop, observing the hummingbirds, ladybugs, butterflies and much more.
Students get excited watching their hard work come to life as we currently have strawberries and tomatoes in the garden.
