Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have 18 students who are learning how to identify letter names, sounds, and how to read simple 3-letter (CVC) words.

We will use these materials during our small group instruction to learn about the letter names and letter sounds as well as when we blend and segment words.

During our fun Friday, they will use the other materials and activities for their independent work. They will play different games and interact with other groups.

My students are active and want to do different activities every day to help them learn. I need to provide numerous opportunities and always keep them engaged to achieve this goal.

With these activities, your support, and my time to teach them, I know that they will all be successful and ready when they leave my class.
