This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 500 hard working, amazing students in a low income, small East Texas town. They love to have fun and learn by playing games in PE. We love to focus on sports and movement skills while making learning fun and engaging for our students.

I strive to make my classroom a fun and exciting, but also an engaging learning environment for all of my students.

I love to inspire kids to learn to love fitness and to live a healthy lifestyle.

My Project

As a P.E. coach I wear many hats. I am referee, a cheerleader, a councilor, a food-fight discourager, and interior decorator. One of my duties as a non classroom teacher is to help decorate not only the gym but all the decorations and in the main hall. We create the atmosphere of the whole school by creating bulletin boards to support our 7 habits including weekly leaders, perfect attendance and other goal setting opportunities.

I am asking for a Cricut to help with cutting out letters, die cuts and other decorations to not only make the school a fun and exciting place for students but also to promote the seven habits to create successful, happy kids.
