Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my third grade classroom, I strive to create a space that feels warm, welcoming, and full of excitement for learning. With a Cruicut machine and a starter bundle, I'll be able to design custom visuals, labels, bulletin boards, and learning tools that help keep students engaged and organized. Whether it's creating name tags that build classroom community or visual aids that reinforce math, reading, and science concepts, this will help me bring our lessons to life in a creative and memorable way.

This project will allow me to create a learning environment where every child feels seen, supported, and excited to grow.

A visually engaging classroom can boost confidence, reduce distractions, and foster a sense of pride in our shared space. I'll also be able to better tailor materials to meet specific student needs (whether it is visual schedules for students who benefit from structure or encouraging notes on their desks during testing season)!

My students are imaginative and full of curiosity. Every day, they remind me of the joy in learning (and teaching) and the importance of creating a safe space that reflects their uniqueness. This project is one small way I can give back to them and support them.
