Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are an incredibly creative and diverse group of young artists. They thrive on hands-on projects and jump at any opportunity to build, design, and invent. Give them noodles, and they’ll build worlds. Hand them markers, and they’ll draw suns filled with spirals. Their imaginations have no limits—and I want to give them the tools to match.
A chomp saw would allow my students to safely and independently cut cardboard, opening up a whole new world of 3D sculpture and construction projects.
With this tool, they’ll be able to dive deeper into their artistic visions and bring their ideas to life throughout the school year.
