This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a school counselor, I'm dedicated to creating a supportive and empowering environment for my students. However, many of our counseling curriculums are digital and require a desktop computer to access. Currently, I'm using a shared laptop or iPad which is not ideal for the sensitive and individualized work of counseling.

A desktop computer will revolutionize the way I deliver counseling services to our students.

With a dedicated device, I'll be able to seamlessly access and utilize digital curriculums, which cater to diverse learning needs and preferences. This will enable me to tailor my sessions to each student's unique requirements, providing more effective and engaging support. Imagine being able to effortlessly navigate through interactive modules, watch thought-provoking videos, or complete creative activities with ease – all while ensuring confidentiality and security. A desktop will also enable me to better collaborate with colleagues, share resources, and track progress with parents.

I'm excited to take this next step in enhancing our school counseling services!
