My Project

As one of the first faces many of our students see each day, I understand how important it is to set a positive tone from the moment they walk in. My goal is to create an environment that feels safe, welcoming, and supportive for students of all grades.

I want my office to be more than just a workspace; I want it to be a space where students feel seen, heard, and cared for.

Whether they need a moment to regroup, someone to talk to, or just a calm start to their day, I’m working on making this space one where every student knows they will be heard.

I serve as office personnel and I service all students, pre-k through second grade. My idea is aimed at supporting my students’ emotional well-being and encouraging positive communication. I plan to create a “Bucket Filler” mailbox and bulletin board where students can confidentially share their thoughts, feelings, or words of encouragement for others.

This space will serve as a safe outlet to express emotions, ask for support, or uplift their peers. My hope is that it will help foster a greater sense of connection, boost morale, and provide students with another way to be heard.
