Cute and Cozy Circle Time Rug

My Project

Circle time is an essential part of any high-quality early childhood classroom. It allows modeling opportunities for the teacher and encourages listening, talking, and sharing among the children while improving their attention span and developing their abilities in literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies. An essential component to having a successful circle time is having a defined spot in the classroom that has enough space for all of the students to gather together. My project provides a large circle time rug with plenty of space for little bodies to move and be comfortable while I introduce the topics and plans for the day as well as sing songs, read stories, play games, and carry out large group activities on a daily basis.
