Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are imaginative and fun-loving kids ages 3-5 with varying disabilities (autism, intellectual disabilities) and most of us are dual language learners too! Due to our special needs we benefit from hands on learning using a variety of materials, manipulatives and toys.
They have a dedicated team of educators which includes their families who are trying to make sure they continue to learn and make progress towards their IEP goals.
My Project
My students require hands-on learning activities which include using many different kinds of manipulatives. These art materials and manipulatives require a lot of time to design and create. Having access to a Cricut Machine and Heat Press will make this process easier, quicker.
I can create high-quality materials and manipulatives for my students that will be designed to their personal interests.
Being able to use these tools will not only save me and our team on prep time, we will be able to create and share with others in our school.
