Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As we approach the end of the academic year, we are seeking support for an initiative aimed at ensuring that all students, regardless of financial background, can fully participate in and celebrate their graduation. We are reaching to request assistance in providing supplies and gifts for students from low-income families.
Many of our students face financial barriers that prevent them from fully participating in graduation ceremonies and receiving commemorative items such as caps and other graduation memorabilia.
Additionally, they often miss out on the joy of receiving graduation gifts, which can serve as tokens of recognition for their hard work and achievements.
Graduation caps, adorned with unique designs and personal touches, serve as a symbol of accomplishment and individuality for graduating students. However, many students from low-income backgrounds may not have the means to purchase decorations or materials to personalize their caps, potentially missing out on this cherished tradition.
We are organizing a fundraising campaign to collect donations specifically designated for purchasing graduation supplies and gifts for students from low-income families. Our goal is to ensure that every graduating student has access to the essential items needed for the ceremony and receives a meaningful gift to commemorate this significant milestone in their academic journey.
