This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Do you remember when you were a kid having to sit on a hard floor for class? I remember it being rather uncomfortable. I still sit on the floor with my students but I get to move around a little more as I teach.
Having cushions would help my students sit more comfortably during my class, thus learning more.
Having these cushions will also help with comfort while playing instruments. The student kneel at the instruments to help them play with correct technique. Having the cushions will protect their knees on the hard floor. Please consider donating to our project in order to help my students feel more comfortable during my class.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
