My Project
In this project, I have requested two sets of curtain rods and two sets of curtains. These are needed for my classroom because our class is in a new portable building that has two windows with no curtains. Having curtains will help our class by covering the distractions outside when needed since right outside our classroom building are the kids playing on the playground at recess. Additionally, sometimes the sun gets in students' eyes and provides distractions. Finally, the curtains also provide a safety component that will be needed when we have lockout and lockdown drills.
In this project, I also requested a classroom kit to watch and care for caterpillars as they develop from larva to caterpillars to beautiful butterflies.
This fun science unit would be a class favorite for sure!
