I am a third grade teacher with a variety of students. I am always looking for ways to reach all of my students' learning needs. My students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds and represent various ethnicities, learning styles, and ability levels. My students are hard workers, very busy, enjoy working together and love using technology. Every day we are learning new ideas and applying our learning during hands-on activities. We love to work around the room during partner work and stations. My students are problem solvers and are eager to try new things. They enjoy having a choice in their learning and are developing their independence every day.
My Project
Students begin learning how to write in cursive in third grade. As we are now getting close to the second half of the school year, our curriculum will include cursive writing. My students need an online resource that will make this a fun and engaging experience. Students will began to learn and practice the strokes of cursive letters in their workbooks but need this online resource to help them with their letter formation using animations with audio stroke descriptions. Many of my students are ready for cursive writing now, while some of my students need further practice with printing.
The digital resource that I am requesting comes with instructional videos and interactive letter activities.
By supporting this project, you will be making available the resources needed for my third graders to better their penmanship skills and to learn cursive writing.
