My Project

I am a science teacher at a small public charter school whose mission is to provide a rigorous, international education for students in underserved rural Idaho counties.

This year, we are thrilled to introduce our very first high school Electricity and Magnetism class, but we find ourselves facing a challenge - we lack the essential lab supplies needed to provide our students with hands-on experiences in this exciting field of study.

Our limited budget must cover the needs of two science teachers and five grade levels for the entire year, leaving us with inadequate resources to create a vibrant and interactive learning environment.

A classroom set of circuits supplies, as well as various electricity and magnetism kits, would be used to foster curiosity and encourage exploration in many hands-on lessons and labs to teach students the fundamentals of electricity and magnetism, and could be reused for years to come.
